Mysore Mallikabluefilim

My book bus

Sick of transport, I'm the type to instantly become green if I have to read if only as an indication or a map in a car. The bus did not even mention. And yet this week, the good music flowing freely in my iPod, and I read in 22, 2, 4 or 7, the short bus whoever will take me from my home office, and office in my home sweet home.

Monday, my hands were attracted to a paperback book at the library, I do not know why, but I am far from complain. I was behind you , Nicolas Fargues, is very dense, incisive, thought, and devours raw. The back cover is inspiring:

"It's in his thirties that life hit me in the figure.J 'then I stopped to take me to the king of the world and I became an adult as the others, who does what he can with what it is. I waited for her thirties no longer have to wonder what it would look like, suffering and worry, about thirty to get me, like everyone else in search of happiness. What happened? I have not experienced war or the loss of a loved one or serious illness, nothing. Nothing but a banal story of separation and meeting. "

And it seems that to read on the bus, clinging to a pole standing or sitting comfortably on the bottom row, gives even more flavor. I dive, I lean my head on my book, I read a few sentences, a few paragraphs, a passage makes me smile so he types in the mile. Suddenly I looked up, I look around me, wildlife bus in all its splendor, staring into space for the most part, lost in their thoughts but required time to travel to be glued to strangers who too often stinks when they do not smell the perfume cheap, or take too much space and you dripping wet with their umbrellas. I quickly plunged back and forget the blues room. Even if my journey takes only 20 minutes, the bubble changes everything, and I come down with a smile. For a bit, I would scream "Thank you" to the driver since the back door.

I hesitate to read other than the bus, I want my memories are colored by reading this atmosphere. But the urge to move is too strong. Hey, maybe I'll go for a walk by bus this weekend, just to finish it.

"I try to record as much detail as possible, knowing already that later when everything is reduced to a powerful memory of my senses, I would be remiss not to have tasted more consciously at the time. But it is impossible to consciously try to happiness. Beneath its banal, with its noise and imperfections, without the filter of memory trim, the reality is you always speed. At the time, it is mathematical, you can just feel vaguely that something is going well, but you're too busy living in the same time to taste really. Because you've noticed that happiness is always a memory, never in the moment, eh? (...) That, lost time, time short, the impossible equation of time passing and we would like to retain. "

Replacing Closet Flange Rings

I'll never be far

Good music discovery never comes alone, I just woke up over a year late in discovering the latest album on iTunes by Daniel Belanger, We . This man is truly a wonderful poet, a great musician, someone who comes to look very far with three simple sentences, which affects essentially the depths of ourselves.

Daniel Bélanger For me, it's full of images and memories of Quebec, Johanne, a friend who unfortunately is out of my life is a pleasure after years listening. A sure, whatever.

The first song on this album called "Stay"

And the last is called "You can go"

He has come full circle ... Hopefully there will be a video for "Not far," my favorite that I have in mind two tunes Bonobo.

And a video made from photos of the pinhole Willene Pilate Sarcelles France

The number of cases arriving each year is increasing, but the walls are still ... what ' they are! It was nice to add structures, he still lacks the place! Especially when we asked for sets of 5 to 10 photos!
As this year's cultural center has developed video screens I decided to also use this modern technology for power show some more pictures. So the lucky ones who will not have problems of supervision, not to provide secure packaging, no postage to pay, are:
Tomas Bozzato ( Grenoble France ); Laurent Diaz ( Ivry / Seine France ) Megan Dunbar ; ( Bozeman, Montana USA); Dave Molnar (Roseville, Minnesota U.S. ); Daniel Smith ( Montbéliard France ); Thomas Różalski ( Jozefosław Pologne ).

The slide presentation will be made from the images they submitted by Arnaud Leven, head of the capsule.
For my part I'm about to get into the creation of the catalog ...

Perception Super Sonic

The calm after the storm

Weekends come and go and do the same. After a weekend trip with friends filled with abuse, I spent this time two days in Vancouver very quiet, mostly alone. Both options have their good sides, I love being surrounded by people I love, but I also need my time to myself, alone. In this case, I had many things running through my head, and a great need for calm to let the little things in question trot at their ease.

Housekeeping music store, I take possession of my space after failing. And it feels good to know dust tamed by vacuuming, to see everything in its place, almost. I can not help it, there will always be two to three gadgets lying around, but it's part of my vision of order, I suppose. Librarian at heart, okay, but not completely neurotic.

A very pleasant time on Saturday afternoon to finally chat with Anne quietly in front of a piece of cake (for her, I took me a soup) at Aphrodite's on 4th Avenue. To repeat more often. Luckily, I have all year to do it again. Thank you, god weekends.

And then one of my favorite moments of the week comes on Sunday morning. If I'm not out to point an hour yesterday, we agree. I get up early, but without waking me strength, I take my time, I listen to music. This Sunday, it was simple and perfect, I received it last Quebec a few days ago, I laminated alternately listening Bonobo Kraked Unit, with good coffee. I turned round in recent times, the music side, and I needed something different. It's done, I found. This is nothing new, it does not come out, but it went into my ears at a time when they desperately needed.

known Kraked Unit for music and movies Paris Klapish of Russian Dolls. Bonobo and then, my faith, you may be familiar. I do not know but I have good friends who share their discoveries. I never get tired of those two these days.

Other than that, I begin a film cycle, it seems. I began Sunday afternoon with Another Year at Fifth Avenue . The room was full and the average age was quite high. Let's say we had a lot of white hair. Not on my head, anyway, I was just coming to me dying.
Another year is a film about people. One year, four seasons, it follows a couple (with white hair, hence the hearing, I guess) and their entourage, their son, their friends. The couple is solid, accomplice, wise and happy. We would like to end up like this ... Other characters are less fortunate, especially the touching Mary, excellent Lesley Manville, who manages to make us feel a subtle range of emotions throughout the film. I'll talk about other movies I expect to see in another post, finally, if I remember. This one I liked, but left me a little something ...

To finish the weekend with serenity, I took yoga Sunday night. That's at least one positive consequence of a moment of deep frustration that hit me in the late afternoon. I had a choice as a brooding ill at home, wondering when will I finally understand that there are situations which will be repeated forever in my life, or go out with my carpet under his arm, and spend one hour to breathe and do me good. I chose the constructive option.

Condolence Card Arabic

in 2011, 2011, stronger than 2010! A tumultuous fall

These are days and days I tell myself that I must make a note ... Time passes and
January draws to a close and I agreed with the sacrosanct tradition of greeting!
So, no doubt, I really wants a beautiful and happy new year full of beautiful pictures!

I stumbled on the ticket did last year at the same time:
" year starts on a flying!
2009 was very eventful so everything goes well, it continues!
I have not even had time to talk about ... that Christmas is here!
I do not even know if I could do a flashback one of these days! "

I did well because I was going to read you say the same thing ... only worse!
There is even more top speed, I think I actually ride on the wheels skidding more or less controlled!
I had not had time to do a flashback as I presssentais, I had not had time to recount the events of the end of the year, so I will be the Conversely now:
you will have the following summary of the episodes!

Like every year, you're used to now, the beginning of the year is devoted to the selection of participants to the next World Expo to Pinhole Photography. The number of cases is increasing year by year, but the walls do not expand! So a lot of disappointment. (The list in the next post).

Mars will be very hectic because besides the planned March 11 opening, I will animate an internship at the Museum of Pinhole Photography Graçay (3 museum in France) 18 - 19 and 20 March.
You will find all the info here:

The following week, March 24th to be exact, I will attend the study day devoted to the pinhole by the University of Rennes, as part of a major event on the region between March and June. That day there will be 8 lectures, but I do not know yet what other stakeholders.

few days of respite - perhaps - before returning to Barcelona! This time it's for my account since propore Can Basté asked me to show the pinhole and polaroid pictures that I made during my last stay ... Any Sala Cava just me! The expo will be held from April 28 to May 28, we will say!

Summer is the time for this as almost calm, but from September 29 to October 29 Living Expo! Can occupy turn Basté then hopefully proceed towards Orense ... With any luck I will return to Spain ...

November will be marked by another exhibition in the Month of Photography in Nevers. I concocted an exhibition of about 10 pinhole to invade the Great Hall of the Ducal Palace. And hey, for once I'll expose myself too! By now you should know to wear two hats!

And Christmas will be here!

And I wish you a wonderful year 2012! :-)

How Many Calories Lasagna'

2011 ... Travel

resolutions, projects ... Each new year marks a step and seems to give everyone the urge to make lists. I do all year long, me, but it's true that right now the trend is even heavier than usual. Then I started

me also to make myself a little "To-Do List". Or rather I should say my "to-see" list. One thing is certain: I have lots of desires elsewhere. Not necessarily to move -Although small-but rather stay here and there, far fewer and far, the new and familiar. Because I see it every time I go, if only for 3-4 days: it's good. It's as simple as that.

As I said when we return to Portland, I want to go back and further explore the city that charmed me already. When the weather is more clement, ie not right away. With friends like Tofino, it would be nice.

Montreal will inevitably be part of my destinations this year, as always. I probably will go there in winter this time, because I love Montreal in winter as in summer.

Six years since I left Montreal to Vancouver, and I'm still not returned to New York. This year, I promise, I will! In good weather also preferably, because New York is made to spend the day outdoors, walking, walking, taking billions of photos and walk again. I already did that in February in the cold and snow and wind, it's too hard for the body!

With any luck, the handsome guy who is on the photo will accompany me ...

Also in the U.S., I have a little dream of going somewhere, probably in Oregon or California or whatever, with an Airstream trailer. It would be cool, right?

The big trip of my dreams for this year is Australia. I do not know if it will be possible because I do not awash in the number of days of leave (4 days accumulated to date!), But we'll try ... The dream, he needed to move forward!

Open Indian Big Breast

Weekend on the wet coast

Back from Tofino, finally dry after an abundance of water. Between the constantly falling from the sky while we were walking on the beach and the more hot, seething in the Jacuzzi where we have marinated for hours, it was clearly the dominant element of the weekend. Even my hair usually hopelessly stiff ended up having a semblance of form almost complete.

The rain did not stop us to go for long walks on the beach. Chesterman Beach First, near the house we rented, and also Long Beach.

was gray all the time without any hope of thinning, but it was beautiful nonetheless. The wind, waves, large beach, fresh air, and this sensation around the world, or at least side of Canada that I felt, just like when I went there in May. When I'm in Tofino, my head is the map of Canada, and I deeply feel that my feet are at one end of the country. And I like it ...

And it's true that this is far, Tofino. To save time, we left Thursday evening after work and spent the night in the excellent youth hostel Painted Turtle, which has a common room to turn green with envy a lot of people. We saw live well ... And as at it, we begin at once to celebrate the start of the weekend.

The journey continues the next morning. You have to cross Vancouver Island, by a road which becomes rather twisty. I managed to capture the only ray of sunshine of the trip ...

... we did flee immediately singing at the head of Joe Cocker and Michael W. Smith, to name a few.

We spent hours on the Internet to find a house that was hosting us, and it finally Alder View we had chosen. The website does not do it justice, it is more beautiful in person than in photographs. I recommend it to those who want to leave in groups, it is spacious and comfortable, not to mention barbecue, Jacuzzi and sauna, for a very reasonable price.

Just installed, Carole, Alex and I decided to make a first visit to Chesterman Beach, despite falling from the sky. I must wipe my camera several times on the beach, the drops continue to crash on my goal ...

Between walks on the Beach, parts of which are linked Rummikub, good food and good wine, not to mention a few vodka, good humor, laughter and yoga classes in the jacuzzi, it was frankly hard to beat as weekend friends, except that we thought that that should have come with us and was stuck at home with a nasty virus.

And now, again a really hard time sharing ... Too friendly, it's possible? Perhaps, after all.

And now, this song will remain associated with the memory of Tofino in the rain. This kind of perfect moment as we could have in a movie. It's called "Tofino" instead of "Paris".

Well, that's not all that, but my photo of the month was posted in my absence, I must now go for a ride to see all beautiful contributions from participants. I feel I'll see beautiful skies!

What Is 8cm Renal Cyst On Kidney

Photo of the month: in the sky

Each month, bloggers who participate in the photo of the month publish a picture based on a theme. All photos are posted on the blogs of the participants, the 15th of each month at noon Paris time.

This month's theme is "In Heaven". I had dozens of beautiful sunsets to be published here, taken from my balcony facing west, in the Vancouver skyline always changing. But I preferred to share with you this picture of an airplane flying over the park Bryce Canyon in the U.S. while I was hiking on a beautiful day. It looks like the mouth of the rock back!

Brown Discharge A Day Before Period Due

The Wild

I certainly expect to have this kind of vision:

But Tofino in the rain, it can be beautiful anyway. In any case, with the great team with me this weekend, it promises to be joyous. At least if the snow does not stop us from going there.

We have a van that can carry 6 people, what do lots of good food including a barbecue carnivore, a house with sauna and whirlpool near Chesterman Beach, syringes (without needles, I say to those who have twisted ideas), games and rainwear.

In my opinion, we will not get bored ...

Shelly Martinez Jewel Watch

In January, does not remain confined

I'm still recovering from the excesses of Christmas, which is already cool evenings and other plans are linked, and many more are looming on the horizon.

must say that 2011 brings a big change in my life: weekend, weekend ... Magic words that I'm already starting to rediscover the meaning this year. Yep, finished the job on Saturday, finished Sunday work, no more celebrations cut short Saturday night not to be too nase next day at work. Welcome to the time left with Mr. Husband, at least when it will not be on the loose in the world, welcome to aqua fitness Saturday morning brunch with girlfriends, to snowshoeing ... Simple pleasures that I have not had the joy of living this past year, although I still managed to maintain an active lifestyle. But I still felt out of step, at rest before or after people, but never at the same time. It's all over now, at least for one year, and I'll enjoy it.

And not to waste time, I celebrated my first great weekend with a pub crawl on Friday night. The air of nothing, there's a lot of really nice pubs in Vancouver ... The tour began with a short passage in Alibi Room, where there was no room, unfortunately. Damage. I love this bar but I'm not the only one, obviously. We therefore fell back on Chill Winston, still in Gastown, across from the statue of Gassy Jack. Ambience not bad at all, tattooed waitress hearts and dizzying cleavage scary Poupoune many, but not not as vulgar as those of Granville St. No need to go far then, the Six Acres had no place Nor, unfortunately, but his neighbor Irish Heather yes. I'm not often at Irish Heather, yet each time, I love it. Besides, it makes me think that I must finally decided to go test their concept "Long Table Series" , one of those nights. I'll stop here my list of bars or I could pass for a first drunk. I will just conclude by noting that the subject of poutine at Ze Beautiful Potato (well, Belle Patate ) on Davie at 3am is one of the most divine dishes that I have ever tasted . Without sarcasm. After more than 11 years in Canadian territory, I seems it was time.

The result is predictable: 2 aspirins that are not miracles and too few hours of sleep later, the same joyous team visits (walk from Kitsilano then, I note in passing ) in Templeton on Granville St for a well deserved brunch. My god, it missed me so much ...

Today program radically different. Mr C. to go back on a plane tonight, we got up early to enjoy the day in love and go to our first snowshoeing in winter. Equipment loaned by generous Friends, head for the provincial trail Cypress Mountain, which leads to the summit of Hollyburn Peak. Total happiness on this Sunday full of sunshine, blue skies and blinding snow (I forgot my sunglasses).

It goes hard sometimes, but this time I decided, I did not stop en route, I hit the summit. The last part, the steeper, I just "skippered" last is not obvious when the snow is icy, but it's absolutely worth the climb, the view is extraordinary. And the descent is very fast if it was thought to take a plastic bag.

Weekend # 1 well completed, the next will be even more epic!
